As the rest of the world gets ready for Christmas, we’re getting ready for Spring/Summer 2017 weddings! In Vanity Fair land, winter is nearly behind us, and summer is on the way very soon. Over the last few years, the deliveries for spring weddings arrive earlier and earlier and this year is no exception – new wedding season collections have started to arrive. Our Condici delivery has arrived, along with styles from John Charles, Veni Infantino, Cabotine and Ispirato.
If you’ve ever read any of my other posts from previous years, you’ll think I sound like a broken record, just repeating the same old lines, but honestly, the collections this season are the best yet! Condici is Condici, there’s no point in trying to change it, it simply works, just the way it is. Why try to fix what isn’t broken? The wonderful crepe fabrics and the superb fit make this label a definite favourite. Not a shiny fabric in sight when it comes to Condici, just elegant flattering classics!
To be honest, we were going to drop John Charles from our selection this season, customers had tired of the shiny bolero and last year we struggled a little with what was once a best selling label. But when we were on our buying trip last July, we couldn’t resist a little peek, and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Not a shiny bolero in sight! We’ve kept the collection small and it’s all about the standalone dress. We know you’re going to love it! We’ve a couple already delivered so don’t delay.
Veni Infantino the last couple of seasons has literally disappeared and sold out in a couple of weeks, leading to lots of unhappy customers – never a good thing! So consider yourselves warned ladies, it’s back and it will fly again. Don’t hang around, just come now, try it on and buy it! Even if your wedding isn’t until June or July, do it now!! Trust me, there’ll be someone waiting outside your fitting room wanting to snatch it off you! I can already here the phone calls in February asking about certain sizes etc and I know it will be long gone by then. About half the delivery has arrived, so hurry hurry hurry!
We also have had three styles delivered from Cabotine. A stunning vintage style flared dress in a lovely soft blue and navy floral print, a beautiful aqua coloured dress and an ivory dress and coat. We had a similar dress and coat last year and we were a little worried as to what the brides would think of their mothers wearing ivory also, but it sold out in a flash so here’s hoping this years brides feel the same! Anyway, it’s one of the very few coat options available this season so if it’s a coat you want, have a look at this one.
I’ll try to keep you updated as more deliveries arrive, but things tend to get a bit hectic when spring deliveries start and it’ll probably be March before I know where I am! So if you’ve any questions just email us or phone us and we’ll answer all your questions!
Early January will bring lots more tired and weighed down delivery men through our door and we’re hoping everything will be delivered by the end of January but remember that it is selling every day as it’s arriving, so there’s no point waiting until we’re “fully stocked”. We’re never “fully stocked”, by the time the last delivery comes, the first one has long since disappeared, so it’s best just to keep your eyes peeled and stay in touch.
